ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER

ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER

Romans 8:28-30
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

GOD’S FIVE THINGS WORKING TOGETHER FOR GOOD

HE FOREKNEW
In the eternal realm before time began – God saw and knew all things.
The creation
The fall of man
The law to reveal sin
The Saviour to redeem
The Saints to conform
The Kingdom to come
His foreknowledge allowed Him to create the perfect eternal plan.

HE PREDESTINED
God put His plan into action – to create a people He could love.
He predestined them to finish His judgement upon a fallen Lucifer.
He prepared a saviour to redeem them from their fall into dust.
His plan was complete before time began.
God predestined all things in your life – to get you to conform to the image of Jesus.

HE CALLED
To call is to name.
God named Adam and Eve to be His rulers over His creation.
He then gave them the power to name all things in their world according to the eternal plan.
You are named by God according to His predetermined plan.
God is forever calling out over you – His eternal plan.
Your authority is in your ability to name things according to God’s plan and purpose.

HE JUSTIFIED
God through Christ has justified those who call upon the Lord.
To call upon the Lord is to name Him as your saviour and Lord.
God straightens our crookedness in Christ.
Everything has a plan and a purpose.
You are justified in Christ – so all things happen for your good.

HE GLORIFIED
God’s plan is to be glorified through His “glorious” people.
Get up – it is all done.
God has a glorious plan for you and nothing takes Him by surprise.

ALL THINGS DO WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD
TO THOSE WHO ARE IN CHRIST
