DON’T FORGET MIZAR

2020 – SUNDAY 01 NOVEMBER

DON’T FORGET MIZAR

Psalm 42:6
When my soul is in the dumps, I rehearse everything I know of you,
From Jordan depths to Hermon heights, including Mount Mizar.

REMEMBER THE GREAT THINGS

DEPTHS OF JORDAN
The sweet waters from the depths of the great river Jordan.
How it floods our soul.

HEIGHTS OF MT HERMON
The snow covered peaks – most glorious – declaring the wonder and majesty of our great God.

BUT ALSO REMEMBER THE LITTLE THINGS

THE LITTLE HILL MIZAR
Mount Mizar is a small mountain or hill near the more spectacular Mount Hermon.

THE COVERING OF GRACE
The traditional name Mizar derives from the Arabic المئزر miʼzar meaning ‘apron; wrapper, covering, cover.

BE THANKFUL FOR THE SMALLEST OF MERCIES
AND FOR THE COVERING OF HIS GRACE IN ALL THINGS
It is in our daily walk that we see His amazing covering of grace.
Be thankful every day – in the non spectacular – in the routine – in the challenges – and in the trials. Remember God is always present – even when you cannot see the greatness of His power.

WRAPPED IN THE APRON
OF HIS LOVE
