2019 – WEDNESDAY 30 JANUARY
GET BACK TO YOUR WINNING ZONE
We often see the sad event of high profile coaches being sacked mid-contract.
Usually because they have lost their edge or passionate hunger to succeed.
Always look at yourself first when your team is failing.
Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
WHERE WE SHOULD BE.
We want to get back to where we used to be at our best.
Get back to basics. Get back to your first love. Do the little things well.
Get fit and healthy.
Get your devotions sorted.
Get back to humility, honesty and integrity.
Get structure into your activities.
Get habits of success into your daily routine.
WHERE WE WOULD BE.
This second mindset change is all about believing for the best.
Stop saying this is where we would be if things had gone our way.
More ref calls going our way.
People supporting us better.
If my wife hadn’t let me down.
To see genuine improvement and growth in your life – you must have a positive mindset and believe for the best. You must stop blaming everything and everyone – on your inability to rise above anything.
WHERE WE COULD BE.
This next step is about going above and beyond.
This is the impossible zone.
The place we could be if we went above and beyond our best efforts so far. It is about reaching higher.
Remember – when you first reach your quitting point – you still have about forty percent capacity left.
Ask the question.
Where could I be if I did all the things I have dreamt of, and talked about.
