2017 – FRIDAY 27 JANUARY
GOING & SOWING
Behold, a sower went out to sow.
Lets take a close look at the sower.
Because the word “BEHOLD” demands we give attention to it.
The word BEHOLD means to stand in awe and be amazed. It is always a direction to stop and stare and find out what the big deal is all about.
The scripture here say, BEHOLD a sower went out to sow.
Notice the two actions of the sower.
A. WENT OUT – into the fields
B. PUT OUT – his precious seed
1. THE HARVEST MUST BE YOUR MISSION
Be intentional – about your mission. You are a harvester of great crops.
Your intention is to sow your seed – of time, talent and treasure.
2. THE HARVEST MUST BE YOUR MOTIVATION
Be motivational – about your going – into the fields. Get enthusiastic and happy about – your going. Don’t talk about it as being tough. Any long day in a hot field is tough. Love the life you live.
3. THE HARVEST MUST BE YOUR MEMORY
In every sowing and going season – make sure you remember the last harvest of blessing you received. Bring to mind the God outcomes and miracles you have seen before. It helps you sow in faith for greater things.
4. THE HARVEST MUST BE YOUR MINISTRY
Lift up your eyes and see the harvest fields now ripe. You life and ministry must include the harvesting of precious souls.
Harvesting wealth is meaningless unless it increases ministry toward souls.
5. THE HARVEST MUST BE YOUR MODUS OPERANDI
Faith to see a harvest in what you are doing in life – will change the way you do life.
The way you DO LIFE is more important than what you get out of life.
If you do life with a “going and sowing” spirit – you will soon find a harvest of good things ripening in your world.
