IF WE CONFESS OUR SINS
THERE CAN BE NO
RECONCILIATION TO GOD
1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
NO SORRY – NO SAVIOUR
The Bible is very clear.
God has forgiven us all our sins
God has provided as a saviour
God has reached for us in love
God now waits for us to repent
God will then apply cleansing
God will then begin to restore
STAYING HUMBLE – KEEPS YOUR HEART SOFT
Humility is the prerequisite for salvation and cleansing.
Sadly when our heart gets hard – we want absolution not salvation.
SALVATION MEANS THERE IS SIN
Salvation becomes real when you acknowledge your sin.
To declare you are innocent of any wrong doing is blatant pride keeping you from any work of grace.
GOD GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE
God shows mercy to the failing.
God gives grace to the humble.
Everything God pours into our life – is by His grace.
BY GRACE WE ARE SAVED THROUGH FAITH
Faith for salvation does not come from our own hearts – but is a gift from God – so we can reach out to Him to be redeemed and restored.
WHY IS THE SIMPLE – SO HARD
Why do we find it so hard to confess we are wrong – and seek forgiveness and restoration?
Why do we seek to take control when our world is crumbling?
Why do we make life so hard – if we would just repent and show humility – get forgiven and then enjoy God’s new beginning.
GOD LOVES YOU TOO MUCH TO LEAVE YOU IN SIN
