2017 – SUNDAY 17 SEPTEMBER
TRANSITIONING INTO A NEW SEASON
“Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore, arise,”
1. THE END OF A SEASON MEANS SOMETHING HAS DIED
The death of a leader or a season is not the end of the journey. It simply means a new season in God’s plan is about to unfold.
2. THE START OF A NEW SEASON BEGINS WITH A WORD FROM GOD
God always tells His people of His plans.
Without a word you are a wanderer. With a word you are a warrior.
3. NEW SEASONS BEGIN WHEN YOU ARISE
Every new season demands a new stance and step of faith.
Your vision and your voice must now discern and declare the way forward.
4. NEW SEASONS ARE BUILT ON OLD SEASONS
Make sure you honour the season and leaders who brought you to this point in your journey.
A reaping season is built on the tears of a former sowing season.
5. TRANSITIONS CREATE TRAUMA
There is always some trauma in leaving behind the familiar and launching out into new paths. Look beyond the trauma of transition and keep your heart right so you can possess the new season ahead.
Never despise what has been – even when it becomes a “has been.”
6. NEW ROADS AND NEW RIVERS ARE AHEAD
When you choose to arise in faith and start pursuing a new season – focus all your energy and your talk on what is ahead.
New roads of opportunity and new rivers of divine supply await you.
