2018 – SUNDAY 14 OCTOBER
POWER OF IMPARTATION
Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you.
Successful people understand the power of impartation.
1. THREE LEVELS OF INFLUENCE
INSTRUCTION – is when you teach a truth or share information.
People are informed but not changed.
INSPIRATION – is when you stir a person’s emotions to respond.
People are inspired and excited but not changed.
IMPARTATION – is when you impart what you have to another person, so they can live as you do.
People receive life by impartation and are changed.
2. TAUGHT OR CAUGHT
So many people go to church to be taught the word of God – and can often leave with the knowledge of a truth – but fail to catch the life contained in the truth.
You must lean in and open yourself to receive the power of God – contained in the truth. In other words – you catch the life of Christ – contained within the truth.
3. TO SUCCEED YOU MUST IMPART
To succeed in any area of life you must learn to impart your beliefs to others.
Imparters are people who are bold enough to share what they have obtained by faith.
4. SEEK TO IMPART THREE THINGS
A. FAITH – All your conversations and actions should have as their purpose – to impart faith in others – to believe God for miracles.
Everything we do should be to give people hope.
You cannot impart hope to anyone if you are timid, fearful, negative or defeated.
To impart love you must give love.
Stop asking others – “do you love me?”
Start saying about everything – “I just love this.”
5. IMPART FROM THE LIFE OF CHRIST IN YOU
We do not and cannot impart life from our own human abilities.
Peter said to the lame man – “in the name of Jesus Christ”- I give to you.
We impart the “Life of Christ” in us – to others.
Learn how to use God’s word stored in your heart – to impart life – and you will see good success in all things.
