SOWING AND GROWING

2017 – SATURDAY 28 JANUARY

SOWING & GROWING
Matthew 13:3
Behold, a sower went out to sow. And as he sowed….

YOUR GROWING DEPENDS ON YOUR SOWING.
You can spend your life coming and going but if your going does not include sowing – there will be no growing.

1. SOWING JUSTIFIES YOUR GOING
If you don’t sow – you are just a tourist.
If you don’t sow you are gleaning from other people’s harvests.
If you don’t sow you will end up a – “here comes the beggar.”

2. SOWING REVEALS YOUR HEART
When you sow you reveal a heart of faith, generosity and endeavour.
When you come to the party and do not sow, you reveal your heart as fearful, stingy and slack.

3. SOWING REVEALS YOUR PROGRESS IN LIFE
Some people never have enough to sow generously. Their journey so far has been self focussed and all consuming. If you consume all your seed on yourself, you will never have a harvest

4. SOWING DECLARES YOUR INTENT FOR A NEW BEGINNING
Every harvest of blessing is a new beginning at a new level.
When you sow you are declaring your intention to see new and greater things that ever before.
You are declaring that you are not satisfied with yesterday’s measure.

5. SOWING ALWAYS LINKS YOU WITH GOD’S NOW SEASON OF FAVOUR
Sowing is the quickest way to get to where God is moving.
When you sow generously – you enter into the favour season of God – no matter what your circumstances look like.

6. SOWING SEPARATES YOU FROM STINGY PEOPLE
Stingy, small spirit people can never sow generously. It is not in their spirit to do so. Sowing stretches your spirit.
When you show generosity by sowing unselfishly – it separates you from the small spirit self-focused people who only sow into their own fields.
HOW YOU SOW DETERMINES HOW YOU GROW
