2019 – WEDNESDAY 17 APRIL
STANDING IN GRACE
through Jesus Christ we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
Somehow the grace message has lost the true meaning of the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ
FAITH IN CHRIST GIVES ACCESS TO HIS GRACE
God gives grace – however we must access it by faith.
There is only one place you can find grace – it is in Christ.
THE GRACE OF JESUS ENABLES US TO….
When you access the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ – it becomes your enabling in life.
We are empowered by grace to do four things….
Grace enables you to stand in every situation – and against every evil – and through every storm.
Grace brings the sound of rejoicing.
If you are not rejoicing – you are not living in His grace.
Grace brings the promise of better things. Hope does not make you ashamed – but a confidence that things will work together for good – it you will just stand firm in grace.
The journey must bring glory to God. Don’t fixate on outcomes – rather obsess over incomes. The incoming grace to do the journey well – is the greatest way to glorify God.
GLORY IN TRIBULATION
Amazing how quickly people can go from crowning to crying.
One minute glorifying God – the next minute lamenting their sorry lot in the trial. Learn to glory in your trials – and the God of all glory will present Himself with you.
The ability to stay the path – endure the trial – overcome the issue – stand firm in faith – are clear signs of a grace-filled life.
GROW IN CHARACTER
Perhaps we should again teach that trials make us better people.
If the trial is still with you – then God is still working on you.
HOPE FOR BETTER THINGS
Faith that accesses grace always keeps the promises alive. God can overcome all issues and bring us through to better days.
