THERE IS MUCH MORE

2 SAMUEL 12:7&8
“Then Nathan said to David, “You are the man! Thus says the Lord God of Israel: ‘I anointed you king over Israel, and I delivered you from the hand of Saul. I gave you your master’s house and your master’s wives into your keeping and gave you the house of Israel and Judah. And if that had been too little, I also would have given you much more.”

God always has a greater plan for our lives than we can possibly comprehend.
His plan goes way beyond our vision and capacity at any given time.
There is always more – to them who love God and are called according to His purpose.
Consider what God declared to David.

1. I ANOINTED YOU TO REIGN
God always starts at the finish.
He declared His big picture plan.
Stop limiting God to details you can understand.
He has anointed you to reign.

2. I DELIVERED YOU – FROM YOUR ENEMIES
God’s next declaration affirms His power to deal with the obstructions to His plan.
Your enemies are His enemies.
He will remove them – once they have fulfilled His purpose – to make you strong in faith.

3. I GAVE YOU – YOUR MASTERS HOUSE
The house you serve – is your inheritance.
You must serve your house as though it is yours.
Whether you become king or not – always serve as though God has given you the house.

4. I GAVE YOU – THE WHOLE HOUSE OF ISRAEL
Serve your own house well – and God will give you increasing influence.
It seems as though God just keeps on giving.
God will never give you the increase of His government – if you keep focusing on the flaws in your present house.

5. I WOULD HAVE GIVEN YOU MUCH MORE
This is an absolute revelation.
God tells David after his fall with Bathsheba – I would have given you much more.
The much more had to wait until the next generation – Solomon – who was born to David and Bathsheba.
He became the “much more king.”
We are now seeing the Solomon generation on earth.
What came from a flawed generation – has now become God’s “much more” people.
