2017 – THURSDAY 26 OCTOBER
TIME AND JUDGEMENT
And a wise man’s heart discerns both time and judgment,
Because for every matter there is a time and judgment,
The two elements to making quality decisions are – time and judgement.
1. TIMING IS EVERYTHING
Timing is the number one quality of a good decision. Don’t be hasty and don’t be tardy. Always ask yourself – why now and why not now?
2. TIMING AFFECTS YOUR JUDGEMENTS
Your judgements change according to your timing. Sometimes with more time and light, you will adjust your judgements.
3. WISDOM ALWAYS CONSIDERS TIMING
The ultimate expression of wisdom is right timing. Wisdom looks for God’s timing when opportunity presents. Stop chasing every tempting opportunity. Remember – you are not waiting for timing – timing is waiting for you. Delays are usually God wanting to prepare you for what is ahead.
4. RESOURCE IS FOUND IN TIMING
Often the resource you require has not yet been released. However at the right time it is revealed.
5. JUDGEMENTS ARE FAR EASIER WHEN THE TIME IS RIGHT
Somehow the same decision flows better when the time is right. Stop forcing decisions upon people ahead of time. Some people who appear resistant are just not ready. Take the time to prepare those on the journey with you.
6. DON’T FORCE TIMING WITH RASH DECISIONS
Beware of big announcements before the time is right.
Premature announcements often cause confusion which impedes preparation for the new step.
7. LET GOD BE THE AUTHOR (TIMING) AND FINISHER (JUDGEMENTS) IN ALL MATTERS
He is above all and His ways are far higher than ours.
