CONFIDENCE IN PRAYER

CONFIDENCE IN PRAYER

ISAIAH 38:2&3
Hezekiah turned away from Isaiah and, facing the wall, prayed to God: “God, please, I beg you:
Remember how I’ve lived my life.
I’ve lived faithfully in your presence, lived out of a heart that was totally yours.
You’ve seen how I’ve lived,
the good that I have done.”
And Hezekiah wept as he prayed—painful tears.

THE PRAYER OF A RIGHTEOUS MAN – HAS MUCH POWER.

FACE THE WALL
Turn away from people and turn to His presence.
Hard times call for desperate action.
Prayer is the gateway to God’s presence, power and prosperity.
Doesn’t seem hard does it???

REMEMBER ME
Remember how I have lived for you.
Your life declares your love for God and your faith in Christ your saviour.
That’s how we have lived – isn’t it??

MY FAITHFULNESS IN YOUR PRESENCE
Daily presence encounters have been your practice – haven’t they???

MY SINCERE HEART FOR YOU
Remind God of your sincere heart toward Him and His cause. Your serving in His House and your testimony of Christ to others. This is how you have lived – isn’t it???

I KNOW – YOU KNOW ALL
Be transparent before God.
No locked rooms in your heart.
No unforgiveness or bitterness toward others. No hidden agendas.
You have been honest with God – haven’t you???

REMEMBER THE GOOD I HAVE DONE
Don’t focus on what you have got wrong – we have all done dumb things – remind God of His good works through you to others.
You have helped others haven’t you???

LET YOUR SOUL LOOSE
And Hezekiah wept painful tears as he prayed.
Show God your fragile emotions – not everyone else.
When you get up and go out – get strong and positive in God’s goodness. After all – you have been in His presence???

THIS IS THE CONFIDENCE WE HAVE IN HIM…
