SETTING THE RIGHT EXAMPLE

2020 – WEDNESDAY 11 MARCH

SETTING THE RIGHT EXAMPLE

Ecclesiastes 8:11
Because the sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.

TRUTH DEFINES GOOD & EVIL
The commandments of the Lord are to be obeyed and properly enforced by godly leaders.
Society is governed by the Ten Commandments.
Church is governed by the whole counsel of God.

EVIL WORKS MUST BE JUDGED
The word of God rightly divides between good and evil.
Justice and judgement go together.

RIGHTEOUS RULERS MUST EXECUTE THE RIGHT SENTENCES
Wrong sentences come from three things.
Relational concessions
Rule tampering
Relaxed attitudes

A SPEEDY SENTENCE BRINGS CORRECTION
The sentencing of wrong doing must be swift and clear to all.

EVIL IS FULLY SET IN THE HEARTS – BY A WRONG SENTENCE
Every generation is shaped by the example of their fathers.
Permissions in one generation become power in the next.

IT IS NOT GRACE IF IT LEADS YOU AWAY FROM OBEDIENCE
